During the course of my work I have found a number of resources particularly useful, so I am delighted to share some of these with you below;
Getting started with Mindfulness
I recommend Mark Williams, and in particular this Breathing Anchor (8 minutes) and his 3 minute Breathing Space
Trauma Tapping
This is a great self help site: I find it works even better once we have gone through it a few times. You can download the app, and also have it in several languages from here.
Neurodivergence

Emergency Help: some useful numbers
- Samaritans call 116 123 . calls are free, or you can contact them via their website Samaritans.org
- Shout: if you need to connect by text can be contacted via their website
- Papyrus if you are, or are concerned about, a young person contemplating suicide call their Hopeline on 0800 068 4141 or via their website
- Bradford crisis line is run by First Response on 01274 221 181, with more information about when a call is needed and what will happen on their website.
- Leeds:
There is a 24hour mental health helpline available for anyone registered with a Leeds GP practice at 0800 183 0558, and the Crisis Assessment unit is also available 24/7 on 0300 300 1485. More information about support services in Leeds is available here.
