Ilkley Psychotherapy with Kate Graham

RELATIONSHIP THERAPY

Working online by video, telephone and email

Living in relationship with someone else is really important to us - and at the same time one of the hardest things we do.  Having a safe space to talk about the issues that you are struggling with in your relationship together can be enormously valuable and can be relatively short term.

How I work
When you contact me I will ask for both your details, and clarify whether you are both committed to this process.
Before our first meeting I will send both of you an individual questionnaire to complete. This gives helpful background and saves time in the session.  Both questionnaires need to be completed and returned to me before the session.
Our first meeting will be for 60 minutes and gives us a chance to get to know each other and decide whether we would like to work with each other.
If we decide to go forward together I normally suggest booking up six sessions generally a fortnight apart, and these sessions are likely to be 90 minutes (ie £90 a session).
It may be helpful to have an individual session each as part of the relationship work: this will be discussed in the first session.

I ask you to turn up together, to commit to the process (which will be difficult at times) and to resolving the issues that have brought you to therapy, recognising that the resolution may take unexpected forms.
